Medical Mission: Ecuador

Our team returned from Riobamba , Ecuador  last night. It was an amazing week. We operated in a  military hospital in the city which was located high up in the Andes.
We treated the needy who can't afford and otherwise would not have received any medical care. This year we we had two general surgeons and two ENT surgeons. We did a lot of clefts at various stages as we return to this site annually.
Other surgeries performed were septoplasties;  tonsils & adenoids ( which  enabled many to breathe well again), gallbladders, undescended testies, hernia repairs, insertion of PE tubes, tympanoplasties, just to name a few. It's amazing how you can change someone's life in just a matter of minutes.
Our team enjoyed wearing your caps and on behalf of all I would like to thank you for your contribution.
 Best Regards,
Beth Delaney MSN, RN-BC, CAPA
